Tell me , would you really buy a EA published Obsidian made Star Wars game?
Because this is the only way it's going to happen…

EA owns all rights for Star Wars games now.
I personally liked IWD 2 more than IWD but I don't have a huge amount of interest in seeing a 3rd.
Something along the lines of Aliens would be nice too see imo.

A Star Wars rpg is a possibility since EA is supposed to be involved with a new one so it could be Obsidian making it.

There was space opera long before Star Wars came along. No reason they couldn't do a Bujold-verse-style sci-fi series…

I'd say finish Eternity first before starting something new :/ they still haven't even finished South Park rpg (I think?) so I'm afraid they are really stretching out their resources…

South Park is finished. It just needed months of squeezing uPlay DRM code inside.

I don't think there's more than 20-30 people working on Eternity and South Park is finished like joxer says. If I remember correctly Obsidian has about 100 employees so they really need more than one project.

Here's hoping for a followup to New Vegas on the skyrim engine with full occulus rift support.

Apparently they are hiring a UI designer for a "next gen game" so guessing occulus is off the table.

The actual reveal makes me a bit worried about Obsidian's finances. How can we shore them up? Or at least, make PoE sell like mad

The way Obsidian seems to be heading, maybe it was some uber phone game?

Though they still have a few unannounced projects, and one new kickstarter to announce. So I'm not disappointed, or as jaded as some members on this site.

Why would it be a game at all?
How about this:

Ain't that a must have with such a cheap price?!
