Good (preferably cheap as well) gaming controller for a PC?

Hey. I want to get a controller or 2 for my 2 laptops. I will be switching the controller from laptop to laptop at times depending on the game I'm playing, or, if they are cheap enough I will buy 2.

What's a good, WIRELESS gaming controller that won't set me back $$$ wise too much? Any help appreciated, thanks,

Well theirs always the Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows. It will cost you $25 used and 45$ new on Amazon.

This, you can't go wrong with it. Although don't get it if you depend on a good d-pad, because the 360 controller has one of the worst d-pads ever made.

If you want a d-pad that is better get an Xbox One controller, it has PC drivers now.

Also check out the Logitech F710 if you prefer Playstation type gamepads.

The PS3 controller runs on Windows with a certain tool, I think.

Half the times it works. Go for a Xbox controller.

Shame as I like the ds3 more. The ds4 is also standard Bluetooth instead of something proprietary.
