Lords of Xulima
September 13th, 2014, 15:54
Created a party and messed around in the first area. Unlike PoE, Xulima has all the standard classes of yore (Barbarian, Paladin, Ranger (Explorer), Cleric, Mage, Thief, etc.) Towns are static, like Torchlight, and everyone stands outside spouting tidbits of information as you pass by. Some characters can be talked to for rumors or quests and there is a job board at the adventurer training area.
Combat is turn based and quite difficult. You will need blessings from the priestess in town, what potions you can scrounge, and good tactics to beat even the starter dungeon; and this is on normal difficulty. This game is shaping up to be a good mix between Might and Magic and Wizardry with the look of King's Bounty.
It's due out in October and is less than $20 on Early Access. I'm sure some other folks have talked about it, but I'm late to the party
Could a moderator dump this post into the other thread about the game and close this one? It's a dupe.

Couple of existing threads from recently (i.e. active last two days)

The last one is what I would call the 'active' discussion.
