That's called throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

I guess different people have different priorities. The only people to benefit from a move to remove tactical planning in your party makeup is the subset of the multiplayer crowd that has the attention span of a squirrel and doesn't care to work together. The more I learn about DA3, the more I grow completely uninterested.
As an aside, GW2 group dynamics are a joke primarily because of this "one character can do anything" dynamic. There's no strategy involved and party members have a soloing mindset even while in party.

I like that a lot.
But I don't like they removed healing spells. Are there healing potions at least?

This seems to confirm a misgiving I had about DAi being too easy or not really needing tactics:
"In Dragon Age: Inquisition, I tend to swashbuckle in real time without pausing except to use items. I only go into the Tactical Camera mode to closely manage fights after I've died at least twice, and even then, it's something that I turn on, make a few commands, and then turn off. I am by no means a tactical expert."
