It seems like fan-service more than a passionate vision. In that way, I think it depends on how much you love Baldur's Gate.

Personally, I really like Baldur's Gate and I'm sure I'll play around with PoE. But I'd much rather have something based on a personal vision developed with an independent spirit.

I'm not a big fan of these "let's give fans what they already have in a new skin" games.

hmm not very encouraging this late in the game. $4 million sure pays for alot of hookers/blow.

Never underestimate the sheer power of substantial hookers and blow. And, of course, the expense.
