Hats off to Black Rune for this 10/10 video.
First of all: this video was made by professionals. Don't be misled by *their* word usage "indie".
- Beautiful and competent art direction
- readability is 100% icons, scroll-bars, numbers and story perfect
- concept paintings are made by talented professionals
- GUI design is absolutely superb
- Music is top notch, composer really overdid himself, put a lot of soul in
- Everyone probably was well paid to create this product (they did this while they still have money+hope), otherwise quality would have suffered. (no payment = starving/depressed/lack of creative energy)
All above is usually missing from indie games, only bigger groups have them who have money to hire people of for example Andrée Wallin's caliber.
As for what kind of game they will be able to make, well its still in early access:

Indeed, indie trailers usually leave a lot to be desired. This was rock solid.

I voted for this one on Greenlight (and I think I've voted maybe for 10 games out of 500), so I'll have to pick it up eventually.

I'm with Yme.
It looks like a good game, and I'm curious. ^.^
