Pillars of Eternity - Recorded Live Stream

Paradox and Obsidian did a new live stream of Pillars of Eternity, and as usual due to time zone differences most of us probably missed it. Here is the recording.

Wow, that looked a whole lot better than the backer beta I played a few months ago.

It goes on for two hours… I'm not going to watch it, so I will just take your words for it.

Just took a lookt at 2-3 battles. Looked fine to me, although I have to admit it was 1vs2 or 2vs2 only.

I watched it whole and while overall it looks fine, there are still a lot of problems in it (even if we ignore bugs that should not happen in these kind of marketing things - like one of NPCs getting knocked out during first major combat and then never getting up and being dragged along on the ground, it was both hilarious and sad at the same time).
There are a lot of little polish things missing (lack of getting up from ground and picking up stuff animations), backer NPCs sticking out and destroying the atmosphere and so on.

Combat is still too fast and a first timer (Jesse) got lost and only Sawyer sitting next to him saved him.

It will not work on mobile devices, only on PCs.

I tried. The non-Josh guy was just entirely too annoying. Tries way too hard to be funny.

I'm on pc it just hangs for me.

Definitely looking forward to this game, but the streamer was a bit annoying. He didn't really seem to know how to play RPGs properly, he ignored the developers advice, and just aimless ran into fights.

LOL to each their own.I found his humor to lighten the video up otherwise it would of been two very long hours.But I must add that I still don't think the devs get how bad the combat looks.Why does everything have to light up to point of it being a bloomfest?Sword swings with a blue light arc!? And the the shield he brings up is the worst graphic effect I have seen in an RPG.I will probably wait a year for this all to get modded out but I have to again ask….do the devs not see the bloom festival?
