Valkyria Chronicles - PC Port Impressions

I have a friend that says a save problem while on Steam can be if you power off your PC too quickly after finishing, and not letting it sync up first with Steam. Or something like that, know I've heard him say it more than once.

L.A. Confidential is a masterpiece.
Errr… Oops!
Yesterday Valkyria Chronicles was #1 game on top selling list.
Today is #4, AC:Unity is on #1.
Open Steam client, go featured items, scroll a bit down then click on Top Sellers tab.
But there is a reason for this today.
The word is that AC:Unity has unbelievable performance problems on both consoles and is working properly only on PC! I suspect people decided to go buy PC version.
Yessssss

I picked up the console version 6 months ago, but haven't played it yet. Now I'm wondering if it is worth getting the Steam version with all the DLC and playing that instead (with keyboard and mouse).

A new patch!
Patch Update 21/11/2014I had none of these problems still it's awsome when a company continues game polishing instead of telling "shove off" to their fans and moves to make game_title MMO .
• Fixed issues with tank movement at high frame rates.
• Increased mouse sensitivity.
• Fixed issues with audio balance in stereo/5.1.
• Fixed rare crashes relating to memory allocation (e.g. when viewing unit stats in battle and exiting the HQ in book mode).
