Witcher 3 - Second Playable Character Revealed

I don't find scars hot, so I hope we can mod the looks of the characters this time. If I can make Geriatric or Hotness unscarred, I'll enjoy the game more. We had boobies in W1 and full nudity in W2, so I expect W3 to be a porno

I've always wondered what the woman who voiced my phone looks like, so it should be fun to play with her!

It was a serious question from a more social point of view. In our society guys having a lot of women mostly are considered great, women having a lot of guys mostly are seen as sluts. Let's see how CDPR will handle this delicate matter in times like these.

Wow, so you can play through the game with her? That would be fabulous. If true, I would for sure want to play through the game twice, once as the witcher, and once as her.

But I guess it is more likely she will be only playable in short sections or parts of the story.

Well, Ciri is bisexual which can (possibly) make things even more interesting and her scars are fully justified. That girl did have a tough life!

While perhaps not appealing, a scar is quite realistic for an adventurer. It adds another element of grittiness as it speaks to her experience in rough scrapes. I think it's a good touch.

Hello by the way. Old time follower of the website but never really got into posting much

I had no idea how old she was but they made her look old. She looks older than me and I'm 43.

Also the scar and poor complexion are turn offs, but I guess a life of adventuring would do that to you.

Totally. I'm guessing right there, that they only put the scar on her face to also visually demonstrate what a though life she has led. Many horrible things happened to her in the books and it obviously hasn't gotten better since then.

I love any game where you can 'blink' or anything like that. It was one of my favorite aspects of Dishonored, one of the things I loved about the Mass Effect Vanguard (yes, Charge was more of offensive movement, but still let you move around a LOT) and in any other game where such occurred.

Looking forward to that for sure. Not to mention more replayability.

I really doubt that. I think it'll be more like the additional character in Kingdom Come, where you can play a few quests with the miller's daughter.

Well according to CD Projekt Red Geralt is still the main focus so I would say no.

CD Projekt Red adds that introducing a second playable character to The Witcher 3 will "greatly benefit the overall experience." However, the Poland-based studio stresses that Geralt is the game's main focus.

"Adding Ciri as a playable character unlocks quite a few narrative possibilities for the team, though while Ciri is a major character, she is not a playable character in the same way as Geralt. The game is still about him, his story, and how you, as the player, choose to face the choices and encounters in front of you."

She will probably just be playable at certain parts of the game.

Yes, that's what I believe as well. The Witcher story is still very much about Geralt, and it would probably have to change far too much to accommodate a completely different character.
