January 6th, 2015, 06:43
Since my last post about Dungeon of the Endless last year the game has had many patches on Steam, and has been officially released on Steam last month.
More information.
Dungeon of the Endless is a Rogue-Like Dungeon-Defense game, in which the player and their team of heroes must protect the generator of their crashed ship while exploring an ever-expanding dungeon, all while facing waves of monsters and special events.Forum member Pladio also sent me a new link for a Quill18 YouTube video preview.

The last time I posted about this game was back when it was first announced, and I haven't had time to play the game yet so can any of you guys recommend it?

I was really looking forward to this game, but when it came out I was a bit disapointed. It was ok, and had some interesting ideas, but it didn't have that much variety and it got repetitive fairly quickly, which is an even bigger problem in a roguelike game.

I haven't made it very far, but I enjoyed what I played quite a bit. It's an odd bird. Half roguelike, half tower defense. But it makes the two halves work together.
I think Endless Legend is Amplitude's GOTY, but Dungeon of the Endless certainly shows that they have a well of talent to draw from.

Really, Potato! Open up that wallet.

Anyway I'm not in the habit of buying gifts for people I don't know. All I asked for was impressions, and opinions from members who have played the game.
