Witcher Adventure Game - Review @ Game Grin

Maybe the problem with The Witcher Adventure Game is that it’s just too much like the board game which was meant to be played with four friends together in a room, narrating their actions to each other while making inappropriate jokes about Triss. Playing this version just feels too solitary and mildly tedious. For fans of the board game only.

As you see they did not like the game, and gave it a score of 6.5/10

I played the demo once. Only once. I didn't like it.

My friends and I played through the beta together and enjoyed every bit, while doing the banter mentioned above. A well-thought-out and exquisitely designed board game.

I really don't get the issue here. For fans of board game only? Why would you want to play a board game if you're not a fan of boargame mechanics in the first place?

Just correcting myself: I played the BETA once. Using one of those keys that came with GOG.com's Witcher 3 preorder. I didn't like the game mechanics, I found it too complicated or maybe my IQ does not qualify to play Witcher Adventure Game.

As for as "for the fans of board game only", maybe he is trying to say: "If you're a Witcher's fan, this game may not suit you!"
