The voting is over. The results are known, but I'm not going to tell, just yet
Next week we will have the results for you.

I don't really feel I should vote, as I'm still waiting on a couple more patches and mods for DA:I and D:OS. Those seem to be two of the prime candidates.
Of the ones I have played, Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut was my favourite. I loved the combat and the way it played. Really looking forward to some more games from them.

I already know who the winner is, but I won tell.
Hopefully we get the results posted by Monday, or later next week.
Update: The team member poll has also been finished now. Were missing a few votes from a few team members, but they are not active anymore on the site.

Yea, where is it already?
Can I take a guess on results?
Members decided that #1 spot is divided by equal number on Banner Saga and Shadowrun. #2 is just one vote less on DA3 and 1 vote less than DA3 went to a game I haven't even heard of.
On the other hand, almost all of staff votes went to just one game: Destiny. Runners up are Titanfall and ESO.
Am I correct?

I'll also give a guess. A more serious one though.
1. Divinity: OS
2. Wasteland 2
3. Dragon Age : Inquisition
And the Releases for this year:
1. Witcher 3
2. Pillars of Eternity
3. Torment
Which, by coincidence is exactly what couchy voted for.
Just that I am pretty sure that his positions 1 and 2 are swapped.

The Codex GotY (Readers' Choice)
(1) Divinity: Original Sin
(2) Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut
(3) NEO Scavenger
followed by
(4a)Heroine's Quest
(4b)Wasteland 2
(6) Legend of Grimrock 2
(7a) Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky
(7b) Valkyria Chronicles
(9) Tales of Maj'Eyal
(10) Lords of Xulima
Great top 10.
I expected Blackguards, MM X and Lords of Xulima a bit higher.

I can give another clue as the team member picks were the same as your votes.

Good list by the Codex, which I agree with, although wished that Lords of xulima higher. Moreover, happy to see Neo Scavenger getting some deserved credit.
But no DA:I - how come!

I'm on the other side far too often.

Hopefully he finds time to finish articles as I'm the only staff member who spends a few hours of my time on this site posting/moderating everyday.

I enjoy the exploring, level design and lore. But it is not in my crowded CRPG top 10 for 2014, too.

The Editor's Choice Award on RPG Codex had the same result, which means that those two places are a solid vote.
In case you want to know what the Codex poll had as result for the worst RPG of the year: Sacred 3. Pretty much unanimously and without competition, by the way.
