Looks like they're ready to break the million mark.

One million broken with 50 hours to go. Which means a free 4-5 hour mini campaign (DLC?) for all backers 15 bucks and above. I wonder if they are going to try and squeeze another stretch goal for the next 2 days?

I don't think they'll announce another stretch goal.. If they do, it will probably be something like "make the mini campaign bigger / full fledged expansion" I think they're set on trying to get the main game released by the end of the year and promising any more major features could easily delay it into next year.

I'm glad we're already over $1million already but I still hope they end up with a big boost during the final 48 hours… Hitting $1.2 - $1.3 million seems possible. Whether or not they promise anything specific, extra money could mean the difference between a certain feature or mission getting implemented or cut… Since they'll have the option to hire interns or even another full-time designer if needed.

Although, I can't help but thinking that turning Dead Man's Switch into a Director's Cut using the SR:HK engine would be an amazing stretch goal. Mitch said in an interview that something like 75% of what they had originally written for that game had to be cut (i.e., because physical rewards cost more than expected, etc.). However, something like that would take a lot of time and thus a lot of money.

Pledged on this one late in the game. Very pleased to see them continue to do well, as I loved Dragonfall Director's Cut!!

The first KS hit $1.8 million; it looks like this one will earn quite a bit less less. Yes they eliminated the cost of physical rewards, but the funding will also be down 30-40%. I'm not sure what that means in terms of physical rewards as an enticement, or perhaps it's the result of some other factor. (The number of backers is down 10,000, so possibly that's an indicator.) Hopefully though, the budget works out.

I find it funny that some thought this would fail…1 mil is a pretty good amount to make a game they already have the engine and most graphics for…

Yeah, 1 million to basically do a lengthy "Module" using an existing engine should work out pretty well. I think their planned late-2015 release is probably quite doable. From what I've seen, they've managed their funds well so far and seem to be happy with a million-dollar budget for this title.

I think they learned a lot from the Dragonfall part. This may very well turn out to be quite the huge hit later this year.

I'm pretty sure they have already got a lot of the game going….it's not like they were waiting on the kickstarter to start.
