My two cents: Of all the ones so far, my favorite is option #1 way back in the first post.
I like the castle as it gives a medieval feeling, which seems apt for a rpg site. I also like the font and blue sky of that one, but I can see if a darker theme was wanted, the blue sunny sky could be replaced by a stormy day or night.
The others just seem too busy and colorful to me, and I don't get why wilderness scenes such as the desert or sea fit the site's theme.

For example I used the sky of the river Ruhr picture (that's where I live

I definitely dig the second one posted. The first has that weird font you see on dinosaur stuff…
And is there any way we could get the fantasy tower like on the second one? I know our old tower we've used forever is the, like…state forest fire tower thing, but I almost feel like that's too modern? I definitely like HiddenX's coastal tower…it looks more medieval/fantasy rpg-esque, which I feel like is sort of the essence of what we are…
That's just my thought. I know good graphics cost money and we have to use what we can, but I'd love to see us have something that captures our essence the best.
I ran into this problem really quickly when I tried to help with the graphics. It made me chicken out, so I have to hand it to Hidden for continuing to make graphics and trying to get things to work…

Don't really see anything wrong with the current one either. And, if people are absolutely itching for greener grass, I don't see much relevance in the generic ocean/desert landscapes.
Either way, don't really care much. Just don't make it a purple, flash-based monstrosity out of the 90's por favor.

Maybe a hybrid of the new castle replacing the fire watch tower with the older and cleaner design would be cool.

I'll shut up now, lol. I don't know why, but these small and relatively trivial things interest me.

I am certainly guilty of nostalgia and can be resistant to change at times, so I really can't get up on a high horse to preach to those who don't want to see the old logo changed.
That being said, I've always found the logo to be…bland. It certainly has a bit of charm, but I would like to see the logo brightened up a bit. HiddenX's submissions are fittingly understated, and are a vast improvement in that they have a level of expression and life that the old one simply lacks. Just my two cents anyway!

I like the banners with the 'Castle-like' tower. I've always felt the original watchtower a bit off. My preferred banner is the very first one. I quite like the font used.

I think it'll be good to keep the same tower for brand recognizance.

I actually like the old tower… It's become the brand I think. But rebranding is not always a bad thing.

I like the existing one. But if you really really must change it… I would pick

As for what tower to use, I dunno. On one hand, yes, the medieval tower is a little more fitting for the website IMHO, yet the current one is a nice alternative (as medieval towers are rather cliché, no?).
