I'm watching TOS series on Netflix. Man I had forgotten how attractive the women were on that program. Must not watch when my wife is around.

Interstellar. Hmmm. Too few good SciFi movies with high production values. Liked it, always hard when tackling string theory and the likes.
I also experienced h265. Awesome quality with a low file size. Netflix should use it for 1080p material asap

Better Call Saul just seems to get better with every single episode. I'm really impressed with how they've hit the ground running with this new show.

It's not that good, the episodes have an awkward vibe and drag on for too long at times.

Anyone seen The Leftovers? It's pretty interesting. I've seen 3 episodes so far, and I was surprised by how much I liked it, and my favorite character so far is the town priest who seeks to reveal what people would rather keep hidden.

We really enjoyed the Leftovers, it helps that they seem to have a stellar cast involved. Of course, doesn't hurt that it is HBO.

Just finished season 3 of House of Cards. Pretty cool, but somehow not as cool as season 2. Spacey is great, as always, but just the whole plot-line wasn't as interesting. I'm curious where they're taking it next. Are they running with the election story-line?

Anyone watching Outlander on Starz? That show is like porn for women. I have to keep my wife away from me after she watches it.

Not me, I was interested before it started when I saw it's something about time travel, but then they put on it the genre:
drama
I bet it's a soap opera like they did with that pirate series they're running and I refused to continue watching after season 1.
So no, thank you. I'm waiting for Evil Dead series that should start later this year on Starz, DaVinci Demons next season and for Torchwood 5 if it ever comes.

This was a key concept for #3 unfortunately.

I don't have high expectations for the second season based on the cast compared to the first season. I'll still check it out though because I assume it's the same writers.

I quite like the cast. Some unusual choices, which can be a great way to get something powerful out of actors not often associated with such roles.
In fact, I used to think of both the protagonists in the first season as somewhat weak-sauce one-trick-pony actors. Boy, have they proved me wrong over the last decade

I believe Daredevil launches on Netflix today. That is one show I'm really looking forward to watching!

They definitely seem able to bring out things in people we hadn't seen before.

In the meantime Daredevil & Game of Thrones this weekend.
April 11th, 2015, 05:25
It's forbidden to post anything that doesn't have "Game of Thrones" in the text until Monday, as far as I know there is nothing else happening in any TV station. Is there a Superbowl this Saturday? I don't know and I don't care! Is there the final match of the World Cup? I don't know and I don't care! Is there a news report that a Vulcan ship landed and welcomed us to the United Federation of Planets? I don't know and I don't care!
