Patch 1.03

Have you tried loading it to another pc? I think your dad has a computer too. Log in to your steam account on his pc and try installing the game, just as a test. I'm sure you don't want to play the whole game that way….

I once took that test and I came out godlike. Might have something to do with the stat-bug

Well I just downloaded and have version 1.03.0524. I still want to finish one of the games I'm playing before I get started though.

I downloaded it while watching TV land and now my version is 90210

Downloading on Steam. I love me some Steam. I hear the GoG patch might be a few days out with the holidays getting in the way. I love GoG for old games, but it isn't up to scratch as a competitor to Steam for newer releases quite yet.

Anyone having any issues getting the patch? I still can't download it.

Patch started right up for me last night. Steam version

I have the Steam version but it's still 1.02.058 with no sign of the new patch.

I'm also on v1.03 since yesterday on Steam. Maybe its a regional thing Fluent?

Maybe the game read your rant here last night and put a 24 hour ban on you updating to the new patch. THE INTERNET see's everything.

Have you turned off automatic updates on Steam or some such thing?

No, I have automatic updates enabled for the game. I've tried:

Restarting Steam
Reinstalling the game three times
Verifying integrity
Changing download servers
Restarted my computer a few times
Running Steam as Admin
Switching to offline mode and then switching back to online mode
Refreshing Steam files
Removing every file but ones with "Steam" in them, verifying and re-downloading everything

And probably other things I forget right now. Still no patch.

I'm thinking there may be yet another patch before I get back to this game on Tuesday. Makes me think of how messed up my saved party might be since the last time I played was Thursday, lol.

The patch is live on GOG!

I didn't even try to get the patch last night on Steam but it downloaded and installed itself anyway. I just opened Steam and was going to continue my HalfLife 2 HD game, and it started downloading automatically

It's probably because it's a preview edition. Seeing as everyone that bought a copy is getting the update just fine.

Let it get fixed, buy a copy and enjoy.
