Not really.

Games like Pillars are endless playgrounds for me. They allow me to exercise my creativity in many different ways. Building a party exactly to suit my playstyle and mood, from the talents and skills they use, right down to the precise weapons and armor that are equipped is what I love about games like this. Pillars delivers this in a big way.

D&D is a bit more rigid, but Pillars opens up so many possibilities that you are really only limited by your creativity.
