According to the Newsweek PL analysts (?) predict that, by the end of the year, TW3 should sell about 4 million copies earning CDPR about 1 billion zlotys ($277 million). Overall costs of the production reached level of about 200 million zlotys ($55 million).
On every digital copy of TW3 CDPR earns 70% of the retail price and on box sets 30%.

All I know that today, 10 days prior to it's release, steam top sellers list looks like this:
1. Grand Theft Auto V
2. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
3. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Let's wait and see if TW3 can dethrone years old game port on Steam.
