I just discovered there's a town in The Witcher 3 called Oxenfart. I then realised I still have the capacity for extremely childish humour.

I'm constantly repeating german RPG devs need to add more of humor in their games, noone listens. Well, obviously, noone in Germany. In other countries there is no need to say it.

I think it's great, exactly the kind of name that belongs in a good RPG
Olde England is fully rife with just such names:
Charles Bottom, Devon, UK
Clap Hill, village in Kent, UK
Clay Bottom, Bristol, UK
Cock Alley, Calow, UK
Cock Bridge, Hope, Derbyshire, UK

Btw. that's just the same as the English Oxford or the German Ochsenfurt which both describe shallow waters in a river where the cattle could cross.
I think Sapkowski was inspired by the English one as he placed the old traditional university in his Oxenfurt as well.
