Vesemir's voice sound familiar to you?
November 2nd, 2007, 07:09
Are my ears deceiving me or does Vesemir (the head Witcher) sound just like Diego from Gothic 1?
Maybe this has been touched on somewhere else, or maybe old news I dunno… but anyway…. Any thoughts?

came here to confirm I had the same feeling of familiar voice sound-alike, not sure if is the same person, I also heard it in a anime or some other game I can't remember, always wondered how the man behind the voice looks like

Now this is a cool discovery!
Gothic wouldn't have been the same without his magnificent voice work for Diego. He really brought the character alive
Such a talented actor.

I've noticed it was him ever since Witcher 1. He stroke me as so familiar, that I immediately researched him, when I first heard him speak in Witcher 1. Diego was one of the most likable NPCs in rpgs. He was just great in Gothic 1. It was one of the biggest disappointments when I heard him speak in G2, and realized they changed him.

Yeah gothic 2 diego wasn't the same…
Its been such a long time, but if I can vaguely recall they couldn't the get this same actor for gothic 2 because he moved to an other country or something like that.
