At a guess, I'd say they won't go there for this game, though it'll be the norm in another year or two, I'm sure.

Fairly subtle difference, but helps to move the hud elements out to the corners of the display. I know some people have found it intrusive.

For the modders among you, I've extracted and uploaded all the files from the texture.cache archives, because it's a pain in the arse, and other modders were having trouble with the process.

It takes a while to load the page, 'cos there's thousands of files.
We don't yet know how to get them back into the game after editing, but some of you may like to start playing with them.
