Stealth Patch Yesterday on Galaxy
June 18th, 2015, 21:50
I didn't tic the new DLC but got an update anyway. Was there a stealth patch, or is Galaxy acting incorrectly and downloading untic'ed DLC?

You can enable/disable DLC content within Galaxy regardless if it's downloaded or not downloaded. Should work like that.

Speaking of the DLC, do you guys just download everything or do you look at it as more of some alternative content? Seems to me I should just get it all, except maybe the hair/beard styles, because damn it, that beard needs to grow!

Don't ask me. I wasn't looking - I don't really care when Steam, uPlay or Origin download something so didn't check if GOG added something too.

LOL I simply didn't want to use new card skins, temerian stuff wasn't something I liked so I decided not to activate next such stuff and by the time Triss alternate looks got released I already finished the game. Will use that one in the replay to see if they changed her reverse mickey mouse hairdo into something else even more provocative.

It's nice to see they added a weapon/armor set for the school of wolf. Although that's really something that should have been in the game from the beginning.

Those mini DLCs are a mixt bag. New quests are always welcome and Wolf school armor and weapons are ok but (as JD have said) should have been in the game from the start or be released as one of the first DLCs. Alternative look Yen is very nice but Triss isn't (IMO). Temerian and Nilfgaardian sets? Just for those who complained that there wasn't enough armor sets in the previous games. Neutral Gwent set? Not a bad idea but art style of those cards differs from the rest of the set so I'm not using it.

Not really. To stir the pot properly, they should release the kit and put a heavy discount on TW3 a few weeks before FO4 is out.
