Links in Signatures

Recently I saw some forum members that they included links into their signatures.
But when I tried to do it, I got the message, that I do not have permission to include BB Links.

Therefore a week ago I wrote a message to a moderator who explained me that everyone has the right to use links if he uses the ubb tags. Now from what I know this should be the [url=…] I mentioned before. I asked to clarify that, but haven't received an answer. That's why I am asking here now.
The permissions I get in the signature panel also indicate that it is disabled.

I went ahead and enabled links in sigs for all users.
Not sure why they were disabled or if it was intentional. Probably for spam bot prevention? Don't remember, really.
Anyway, if you see obvious spam links in people's signatures (medical pills, viagra and so on, you know the drill), please report.

People with inappropriate sig links get an insta-ban most of the time unless they've been here a long time. Then they get a severe warning to remove it.
