You must be playing a different game that the rest of us, but that sometimes seems to be the case with you.
Remind me where there were QTEs in TW3.
Everytime you have to interact with something to prevent something else bad from happening I consider a QTE. Closing gates, etc… No immediate death failure cases that I know of though…
But how about the amount of combat disconnect? How can you possibly say that the amount of combat is the same as Witcher 2, unless you just run through the main quest, and run away from all the trash mobs, or not explore at all?

You don't speak for everyone else, as usual, and of course, I still disagree with you. The amount of trash combat and respawns easily pushes the combat ratio of W3 higher than W2. You just ran through the main quest with hardly any exploring.

I'm not trying to speak for anyone when I say that closing a gate in TW3 is not a QTE, I'm just stating the obvious.
I can also assure you that, with 155 hours played according to Steam, I certainly didn't rush through anything in TW3.
I'll concede that things might be different in Thasher's world though.

So you're going to insist TW3 has QTEs because you have your own personal idea of what they are that's different from what everyone else considers them to be?Contradicting yourself. Surprise! Also, closing a gate can be a QTE. Nothing prevents that. Just as ignoring side content and exploration can lead to a lot less combat and a higher percentage of cutscenes. Imagine that!

Again, I'm just stating the obvious. Perhaps you should look up what a QTE is, because maybe it's an honest misunderstanding on your part. I'm thinking that maybe you don't really understand what they are. I can assure you that there are none in TW3.

Online definition of QTE is something different from what I was calling a QTE.

You two should just get a room. It's obvious that you are perfect for each other.

Great review, Morty.
You said: "The problem with that is that I kept forgetting who I was doing what for. Coming back for a quest 40 hours later happened several times, and I really had no idea what it’s all about,…"
The quest journal records key conversations for playback any time.

Your post is even more. IMO.
I work on something where IP means internet protocol. Here on this forum, I had to adapt that IP means intellectual property. Changing abbreviations wouldn't help, for example IntPro can again mean both.
Is that also hilarious? To you probably it is.
Another thing is me mingling with social networks audience. To them, avi means avatar. To me, avi means certain file format. So when someone says to others "your avi is awsome", I always ask "what, you made a home pr0n vid? share it!".
To you, it's also probably hilarious. To me it's sad, because matroska and mp4 is the new trend, avi format is slowly dying and all the ignorance and dullnes of social networks club will prevail in the end.
Toff was however right up there. I support the idea 100%!

To me AIV is of course avian influenza virus.
Pibbur who repeatedly claims that the benefit of being educated both as a physician and in informatics is knowing twice as many acronyms. And who just realized that the joxer talked about "avi", not "aiv".

I think, in this case, it's more the case of:
"Are you coming to bed?"
"I can't, this is important!"
"What?"
"I'm NEVER wrong on the Internet!"
