Default TW3 should have been longer…..

Well I now wish TW3 was longer or I had taken more time to play it. Looks like at my age my wife and I are having another baby.

Damm you CDprojekt and not releasing the expansion games sooner.

Longer? Yikes! I couldn't disagree more. It was almost too long.

Congrats on the baby.

No the game shouldn't have been longer for game play reasons. Though if it was a bit longer it might have keep me from chasing momma around the bedroom.

Thank you though I am 47 this year.

Eh, man, look at the bright side…you're not half as old a Geralt, and he Still has relationship problems.
Congratulations on the coming baby…if it's a boy, Bobo seems like a pretty good name.

Have two boys now 12 and 14 so a girl name Ciri seems about right.

Ahh. Naming children after games (or other special interests) - I like that.

Personally I was a bit sad when the wife refused to name my daughters after medical things (that was at the time, long ago, while I still thought being a doctor was funny). Even "Ane Mia", which consists of two quite normal Norwegian names was rejected.

pibbur who wonders if he should call himself "Pibbur" in stead of "Lars-Gunnar". Should be easier to pronounce for foreigners (Americans seems to have problems with the "Gunnar" part)

PS. Congratulations and best wishes DS.

Or Boo? Could be used for both sexes.

pibbur who also would suggest Ruscë, named after his cat, if it's a girl (Rusco for a boy).

Name her Cirilla. Its better sounding than Ciri and that's her proper name anyway

I have daughter due in October and I want to name her Cirilla but my wife won't have it. However I am still holding hope that I can change her mind and name the child Cirilla

Tell her that you will take care of all formalities (if there are any in the UK) regarding the name of the child, and secretely set the proper name for her.

pibbur who is not sure how the wife will react to said procedure and anyhow did not write this.

PS. Another approach might be to suggest a series of names which are worse. Depending on her politicals views, Margaret or Angela might be good candidates. DS.

There are naming formalities here in UK as well and it was my plan to switch the name However my wife is too cleaver and said if I pull anything like that then I will be in world of trouble. However I still have a backup plan, I might still add Cirilla as a middle name

Yes, they can be really nasty if they want to.

And then you can use only the middle name on a day-to-day basis. Hopefully the child will prefer that.

pibbur who has learnt to be extra careful if the wife suddenly looks at him, smiling (in a threatening way), a sure sign that she is pondering some kind of revenge. What's really scary is that he has no way of knowing when it will be impleleted.

Here in Germany there are naming formalities as well, by far not as liberal as the U.S. Maybe Cirilla would work…
