Not sure if it's worth any real news, just because the information is extremely thin.

It's called Forgotten Forces and you can get some information on their facebook page:

In Forgotten Forces, you'll be able to collect magical gems, providing specific powers: Gems of fire, air, stone and the likes. Plugging these into weapons with gem-sockets, you can enhance their powers.
Adding a gem of fire will make your sword go whoosh! Stronger swords come with additional sockets, enhancing your options.

All it needs now is to be turn based, and it would be glorious.

Totally agree. And I hope they avoid the common exploits. I posted on the facebook page and also did a little demonstration video of what to avoid.
