Eh, I'm not so sure…It's either spandex or the whole world will be one big nudist colony.
Totally Witcher III related.

Why do people like to run around nearly naked in ESO? Repressed nudism?
September 28th, 2015, 04:10
It's more of a Bethesda "thing"…D'artagnan and Brumbek do it all the time.
Something about unrestricted freedom and what spells that more than nudity?
Eh, I say go for it!

I think they're CDPR fans trying to rebel against TES to the best of their ability

If something is repressed there, it's not nudism. Would be interesting to know how many of those who have a rubber doll do the naked playthrough. I'm prepared to bet - none.

Where the fuck did that come from? And for sure the politics in TW2 were a level up in complexity (and coherence) than those in TW3.
To me still one of the best games ever though.

You might be a tad
but the button icon isn't the clearest. By the way a thread titled "Best game ever" may well be read by people who haven't completed it to find out if people are agreed that it's the… "see thread title".

Willing to bet knowing this won't ruin any of the good stuff in the game for you when you play it (if you haven't already).

Hehe, no worries
It happens - and I'm pretty good at forgetting spoilers.
I've played so many games that the stories sort of blur together

Trust me, after TW3, whatever you touch will feel boring, annoying and waste of time. So better get something that's already like that till your impression fades a bit and doesn't cloud judgment on other games which are good.
If I have to / can be objective, it really is the most complete experience I've had with any video game ever. Gothic 2 Gold was my #1 prior to this.

The gameplay is better in G1 and G2, I think. But the story / quests are better in W3, IMHO.

It was okay but it didn't pull me in like I had hoped. Still a fun game and worth the purchase. Writing and atmosphere was top-notch at least. Still I had no problem turning to other games to play. EDIT: But to be fair I should add a lot of that was due to the fact that I couldn't connect to the main story or Geralt (even though I like him a lot in the books). If I can't connect to the game then I don't "care" as much about what happens and it looses some of the impact.

Writing was great and it was a marvel to behold and listen to.
Core gameplay was decent to good.
Exploration was weak.
It was partially challenging only on the hardest difficulty level.
Progresson system was underwhelming.
Loot system was crap.
Gwent was great.
Detective mode could have been great, but was crap.
Personally, I liked TW2 better - as it was more focused. TW3 felt, to me, like more of a wasted opportunity.
Honestly, I think the story is what people fell in love with - and it seems to me quite a few weaknesses have been overlooked by a LOT of people.
All subjective, though.
The only reason it bothers me a little is the message we're sending to CDPR - that their take on exploration/challenge/progression is near perfect, so why would they go out of their way to improve it? I fear for the future of their games.
I feel the same way about games like Bioshock Infinite and Last of Us. They both tell amazing stories and I rate them highly despite the gameplay being nothing special.
I guess I just expected more from CDPR and open world RPGs.
As for Gothic 1+2 - they're both vastly superior when it comes to exploration, progression and challenge.
