The Harebrained Schemes Kickstarter is live…

…and succeeded within hours. Looks like we'll need to wait for the $1 million goal to get a single-player campaign though.

From creators of Shadowrun…
Look, I want to see some pics before I risk a dime on something from those guys.
I'm not supporting phonegames although they say it's ment for PC there.
No pics that look like PC game = no candy from me.

Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun Dragonfall and Hong Kong have been from good to excellent imo from Harebrained Schemes. Coupled that with the Battletech universe with vast amounts of potential and I think you come up with a winner. They have my KS money pledge already.

Their games have been increasingly underwhelming to me, so I'll watch this from a distance.

I imagine their campaign is going to be rather like ME2: a series of set piece actions separated by busy work.

I don't like the fact that they needed to hit a $1,000,000 stretch goal just to have a single-player campaign. To me, that's something that should have been in the base game.

Certainly calls into question the nature of the campaign they put in.

Backed, but only with little money. It's turn-based so I'm naturally intrigued. I'm not expecting too much but at least solid combat should be possible.
