TW3 gets ultimate… err… whatever.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt wins Ultimate Game of the Year at the Golden Joystick Awards

GOTY, okay, but ultimate GOTY? What's that supposed to be? Will it's some future release with all DLC be called "ultimate GOTY" unlike DA:I's just GOTY release?

Runner up is AK bug-o-rama and third place went to some game I've never heard of before, probably some consoley garbage.

Best gaming moment… Best graphics presentation… Best studio… You take a guess I won't spoil it.

TW3 won GHA in following categories:
Best narration
Best graphics
Best in-game moment (?)
Studio of the year for CDPR
and (drumroll) The Game of the Year

Ultimate GOTY, perhaps means simply GOTY for PC, and including the consoles we hate so much.
As in, "one ring to rule them all"
Or awards are just getting silly more and more as they go.
Anyway, happy for CDPR.

Eh, only around two hundred prestigious GOTY contests to go!
It's not like, the one and only, local contest for the best looking pig in the village we have not far from here( I kid you not), with a title that actually bestows pride and respect for the recipient.
Shame how standards are simply dropping around these days.

Yea but this one (golden joystick) is the most trashy "contest" of them all.
It's simply unbelievable that TW3 got so much stuff there.

Feels like seeing an actual proper and fair score on IGN for a game. Impossible.

Unless FO4 is mind blowing and way beyond my expectations, TW3 should win GOTY all over the place by a landslide as far as I'm concerned.

Number 3: "Life is Strange" is an adventure game. It's actually quite good. Overwhelmingly positive reactions on Steam.

Don't forget that Golden Joystick and some other "shows" distribute awards before year's end.
Which is basically the biggest idiocy that can exist. Or in their world the calendar ends in october.

I adore adventures genre, it's just I can't afford playing another title right now.
Too many games already waiting me to blow dust away.
Maybe next year I do that game.

Well, "Ultimate Game of the Year" is a tautology, like "fatal murder". They don't strike me as the most sensible publication.
