First two general comments:
  1. The word "Crazy" in the title is redundant
  2. There's no need to verify stories about down under.
Terrorism is serious business, and perhaps something not to make fun of? OTOH this seems worth mentioning: Kangaroo bombs I guess for several reasons this could only happen in Australia, but no surprise really, since the creature is well equipped to carry bombs (if it's a female).

We know there are (according National Geographic Channel) 72 dangerous animals in Australia. I assume that there are one or two mostly harmless creatures down there. Mostly harmless. Assuming further that kangaroos originally belonged to the latter group (they are kind of cute), there are now 73.

pibbur who knows there are more than one species of kangaroo, and who isn't sure which of them was considered by the terrorist-wannabe.

PS. Actions like the one described in the OP's post isn't necessarily stupid. Human feces can be used for production of methane. Whether that was the intention of the perps is anyone's (pibbur's) guess. DS.
