The beat-the-average tier is currently less than $3 and includes Dead State: Reanimated (Steam key). As far as I know it is the lowest price ever for the game, plus you get the other $1 and BTA tier games too if you pay that much or more.

Steam has Heroes of a Broken Land on sale for $4.49.
What's the verdict on this one?
I was interested at one point enough to put it on my wish list…

Pathfinder is one of the biggest fantasy games next to Dungeons & Dragons itself. In fact, Pathfinder started out as a modified D&D ruleset fans could play once the 3.5 edition left print. In the process, it gained a massive following that didn't care for D&D's 4th edition, and quickly became one of the industry's biggest success stories. But if you don't care for tabletop… Skippit.

Ashes of Singularity is half price on Steam for the next few days. It's supposedly a spiritual successor of Total Annihiliation.
I've bought it myself - and it seems ok, if not amazing so far.

*Not actually outraged.
@Carnifex: I just received a DRM-free link and a Steam key via email, so I think they're currently rolling it out. I'm glad they did it this way, I often miss the release of some games I back on Kickstarter, as I forget to go log into their external website. I'm looking at you, Elite: Dangerous.
