It looks pretty cool. But… 200,000 systems? I guess it's going to be largely procedurally-generated then, with a low percentage of hand-crafted adventures.

Hello. Developer of Stellar Tactics here. Thank you for your interest.
While the universe is large, there will be a good amount of crafted content in additional to procedural missions and faction based AI generated encounters. The crafted content will be released in episodes, and I expect that the game, on release will have a minimum of 40-60 hours of hand crafted story related content.
In addition to that, missions of all kinds, faction based encounters, trading, mining and building your team can continue almost indefinitely.
My plan is to fill this large universe with hand crafted content in the form of episodes or DLC and to add features as I go.
Let me know if you have any questions. I'm always happy to answer them.

Welcome to the Watch! I got this game as a gift and haven't played it as of yet, but it most definitely is on my radar. Along with the crafted content coming out in future episodes, will there be additional other content released as well in the future updates?

An example of a post release feature is something that was suggested on Steam - allowing team members to fly ships you have purchased as wing-men. At this time I cannot commit to features like this, but this is one idea that I really like!

Looks promising. I didn't think it was available yet. How did you get gifted a copy Carnifex?
Question for StellarTactics. The video show the ship moving through an asteroid field. Do we have to manually pilot the ship and dodge rocks? From the camera angle I'm guessing no.

Yes, you have total control of 40 different ship types from various manufacturers that you can purchase and upgrade. Each ship has it's own unique characteristics, hard-points and purposes. In the case of what you saw in the video, you will need to pilot your ship manually to avoid rocks. Or, you can stop in the middle of the asteroid field and mine minerals, gather them and sell them for profit. You can also send mining drones to harvesting nodes on planet surfaces. Nodes are found through scanning planets. Scanning data can be sold for profit.
Right now there are 37 mineral types, 17 rare earth minerals (worth a lot of money in the game) and 11 gas types that can be harvested.

Looks interesting! So great to see something set in space, but not in the usual 4X mold which has dominated since the Big Bang. You've got to drop the fancy font for paragraphs of text though.
