I refuse to pay extra to test games in any EA mode; IMO, that is a rip-off!!

I thought it was beautiful! It's not the kind of artwork I create personally, but I think it's very solid and atmospheric.

Count me as another Watcher who hates the new graphic style. Seems I'll shift my hopes to a few kickstarter projects I funded like Inxile's Bard Tales from now on.

Even I wouldn't write off the whole game because of the graphics style!

It bears repeating that Underworld Ascendant is intent on bringing back a very specific type of immersive dungeon crawling experience which is heavy on environment interaction and puzzle solving; much more so than recent Elder Scrolls games offer for example.
The more I think about its potential, the more excited I generally become.
Thus, rejecting it on graphical grounds when it brings so many game-play trumps would be unfortunate indeed. For new players that have never played this type of game before and for whatever reason, cannot get into the first games, I think it's going to be a rare treat.
Strangely enough, my main problem recently with experiencing the first two games all over again via GOG has been the sound. I simply can't get the music to sound like it did on my warbly yet atmospherically warm sound-card from my ol' Dx2-66 back in the day.
Modern hardware tends to make this music sound so garish and nasty that I simply have to turn it off.
