This one looks most promising, if the headbob is reduced a bit.

Nice. I enjoy playing many games that weren't made for it in 1st person. Witcher 1, NWN 1 and 2 come to mind. It's not necessarily the best for combat situational awareness but I find it much more enjoyable for traveling around exploring and sneaking. I'd really like for it to become a kind of standard feature tbh, 1st or 3rd person, switching between them whenever you like.

I don't see why they didn't include it in the first place…easy extra sales for little effort. Skellige, in particular, can feel surreal, with background music, a bit reminiscent of Dune at times.

Would never play a game this way, now of days.

I had a friend named Bob with a large head. So we called him headbob. Imagine if he read what you wrote just there.![]()

Much prefer games in first person perspective. However I guess that the combat will be hardly playable there if it is made for 3rd person.

Just like the Gothic series, I'd never play the first three Witchers in first person perspective. For the combat style, it's simply not the type of game which benefits most from this view. Immersion freaks might get off on it and I completely understand (to a point) but ultimately the third person perspective for me is just much better suited.

For walking (exploring) and interacting with NPCs it could be interesting (I like to change perspective all the time in Elder Scrolls to first person when I'm looting for example and 3rd when I'm fighting). But this one looks like motion sickness… when we walk our brains and eyes compensate our movements… in no way I could play the way is in this clip.
