Seems to be a lot of small budget Lovecraft games being developed by indie developers right now. My favorite one is an RPG called STYGIAN: Reign of The Old Ones.

Hopefully we get an AAA funded & developed RPG someday.

I like Blood and Quake - they have a few references to Lovecraft built in.

No thanks. Whatever advantages AAA publishers have (which can be summed up as "money"), they're overburdened by the expectations that go with them.

Well these Indie developers don't have the funds to make a good RPG game. If only one of them could a make decent Isometric RPG that gets a few million on kickstarter.

I started playing the demo a little bit and I quite like it. But it is really an indie game. I can barely understand what is said at the beginning of the game and no subtitles? means I won't get to understand it. But apart from that it got the lovecraftian athmosphere right.

Does anyone knows if there is a forum where you can talk about the game or contact the developers? I'm stuck at the moment and there seems to be a little (not gamebreaking) bug .

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the demo und the version you pay for? It is not clear to me.

Yes but it's more of an adventure game then an RPG. On the plus side the developer earned enough money on sales to fund a new expansion game called CAYNE.

CAYNE will not be traditional DLC – you won’t need STASIS to play it. It’s also a self-contained story that ties back to STASIS without ruining the story.

The game itself is starting to draw together with the main framework of the engine already complete. We’re now moving onto the sound design for the completed areas and pushing this aspect further than we did with STASIS. Footsteps have distinct sounds depending on surfaces, sound is now directional and can be played based on distances.
