VC goes HD? I don't see why exactly, but okay I guess. I'll buy it when it hits PC.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization looks really nice…it's still TBA in North America but a release date of Fall 2016 has been slated for Europe. Either way, it looks like it'll be out in NA and EU this year.

If you watch the videos at the link, I'd suggest watching the IGN one (third one down) first.

Why would anyone want to play a single player game set in a virtual MMORPG gameworld?
You might be playing Kirito, the king of soloing, but still, wouldn't it work better to make the game a MMORPG?

Anime characters running around in a fairly realistic looking pasture. That's… freaky. Japanese Roger Rabbit.
I can't say the game looks real exciting to me, either. I didn't see any hint of strategy - just pile on the critters until they suddenly dissolve, then run to the next one.
What's VRMMORPG??

Sword Art Online is a series of light novels about VRMMORPGs (and online gaming in general). The game SOA:Hollow Realization is a the single player RPG based off the novels.
Going by the press release and vidoes, expect this to be Kirito (the guy you play) and his harem.

All three can be bought for just $3. Now that's a bargain on Steam right now.
