Do you have a web site where we can see updates, screenshots, etc?
The game is still very much pre-alpha.

As to why Overwatch specifically, we are circling, yet it would be apparent from reading the article from beginning to end that the author's focus is largely topical, based on RPGs, but discussed in a broader light where other genres are also included and mentioned as examples. Overwatch falls into that category.
Just as Overwatch does. Overwatch, though, is another success story.
No. The general point is made, anyone can match a list based on that. No, you didn't make a point, you just threw out an unfounded claim.

Nothing is lost except for people who did not bother reading.
What RPG definition?
Never made the claim that they were unvalid. It is written in the quote: mentioning them is like mentioning Overwatch (a quote is expected to be read when made)
If mentioning them is invalid, then the mention of Overwatch is invalid. Of course, this non sense was not written.
The article characterizes trends. One thing that could have put ME A and the rest over Overwatch is they fit one trend better than Overwatch. The best chance for it is the return to traditional RPG trend. Which they do not.
They do not fit the bill in this regard. Overwatch is as a valid reference as the others except it is a much better reference to support the point.
As to the point over the loss of marketing appeal of the rpg label, it is very similar.
