vase for ilja

Ilja gives me the temple key and says he wants a vase in return for it.
how much time do i have to get him the vase? He says aomething about assassins after me.
Can i just take the key and give him the vase whenever im ready or do i have to hurry up to avoid some negative consequences?
edit: can i go with Gorn to kill demon in gotha or i should wait, go to okara first talk to roland and then come back to gotha and clean up the place with Gorn.
Btw, since i want to side with rebels i bribed the poltros and later kicked his *** and got teleport stone
