You can enhance your horse with training with in-game money. But you have to wait 20 hours before you can buy another training hour.

I don't think the version I bought allows horses, but I could be wrong. I didn't see the allure as people are constantly jumping off them to do anything.

Once you get to the first main city (Daggerfal, Vulkar Guard (sp?) and Devon's Watch), go see the stablemaster.

Inventory management is real issue for me. I like to collect all set items with decent traits. With 8 characters maxed inventory space and saddlebags and maxed bank and the subscriber craft bag there is no where near enough room. Very irritating.

Stop being cheap!
Buy *everything*.
Yes I know you won't be able to buy anything else afterwards, maybe you won't be able to afford tomorrow's lunch, but cmon. It's the best game evar!

Yeah, this is one of the things that irks me a bit too. But that's modern MMO's for you.
I'm also finding it a bit meh that every little quest area starts with you running into someone - a soldier, survivor, whatever - that sets up whatever's happened, always some sort of take-over/invasion, that you then have to put down. Sure each one is a variation of the theme but it seems every area on the map is like this.
It's pretty though, that's one of the things I enjoy, the scenery. Exploring does land some rewards but I wish they did something a little more thematic than a hulking great chest just sitting in the middle of nowhere behind a tree.
I won't say it's awesome but it is fun enough for an MMO. The fact that you can solo it, put it down and come back pretty easily, and it looks alright still has me playing 18 months after I bought it, albeit on and off.

Just a quick question: When I played ESO back in the days, I found it fantastic, except it was basically killed once I had completed the main story by what I consider the worst decision in any MMO ever: "Grats on completing this faction, now go do it again with another faction!"
Is this still the case? It completely killed the whole faction identity for me, including my connection with the given character (I like playing various alts belonging to various factions). I'm well aware that the character was, in the official sense, still part of the starting faction, but.. come on. That was just plain silly. If WoW had used a similar system in vanilla WoW with the Alliance and Horde, it would never have been such a huge success. Not a chance.

There's nothing to stop you from rolling another character for a different faction, and playing that faction's quest line.

So the good news if I just play one character, is that I can create 7 more mules to carry 420 more items. It looks like pack storage is purchased/character while bank slots are per account. I can name them things like Nut's Weapons, Nut's Armor, Nut's CraftingMats, etc.
I boosted my bank to 110 items with the crowns I got when I bought the game. I then dumped all my test character's good items to that and started over with a female Altmer Templar. Her name is either Dumi Moore or Dumi Agin as I suck with coming up with Lore-sounding names and I'm immature
I found I have no trouble ignoring everyone else and it only took me a little while to get used to it. Now the only time I pay attention to anyone is if they're about to die. I'll heal anybody who looks like they're about to take a dirt nap. I've got chat hidden, so I don't even see it if they say thanks
I kept getting a lua error telling me to reload my ui, but there was some nice soul on reddit that mentioned that editing an ini file will fix that issue, so all is golden.

I'd like to play more than 1 chraracter, but can't since their inventory is full as mules. Really sucks.

Can't you just buy a 2nd account and link them? I thought there was a place to link accounts somewhere in all the mumbo jumbo I read….

Linking ESO and Steam accounts? Not sure what that would accomplish.

I guess that daft system is still in place then. Shame.

Yep, I'm voting for Joxer as soon as he becomes a US citizen
Remember, Joxer. You want to live in Colorado.
I guess there's nothing stopping you from having 8 toons on the EU server but you wouldn't be able to trade between them and the NA toons.
Found this while googling:
Of note, the game will make purchaseable -- for the cost of 1500 crowns -- extra character slots "so you can have up to four additional characters, for a total of 12 playable characters." The studio is also talking up the expanded crafting inventory for subscribers:
"This feature, called Craft Bags in-game, allows you to hold a nearly-unlimited number of basic crafting supplies. Additionally, these items don't count against your inventory limit, and is shared across all characters on your account. In the event your ESO Plus membership expires, you'll still be able to access any resources stored in your Craft Bag; you just won't be able to add new materials to it."
