He has that too. He may not be able to deal with me having the PS4 for that long tho as I am not a fast gamer.

There's more:
http://wccftech.com/horizon-zero-daw…st-debut-ever/

Earlier today, Guerilla Managing Director Hermen Hulst confirmed that a Horizon Zero Dawn story expansion is currently in the works.
We’re thrilled that Horizon Zero Dawn has been embraced by critics and players alike. Developing the game was a labor of love, so it’s extremely satisfying to see that it elicits the same passion and enthusiasm from the gaming public that we felt during its development. This is only the beginning of Aloy’s story and our exploration of the world of Horizon Zero Dawn, with the team already hard at work on an expansion to the story.

Just imagine how many more copies it'd sell if was available also on PC.
Apparently the budget of the game was around $40 - $50 million and I have not seen the game discounted here in UK so all those 2.6 million are sold at full price. So they must have earned some well deserved profit!

Look at it this way. All I know about that game is that it doesn't contain meaningless sidequests. Or has them on minimal amount just to satisfy grindlovers.
I bet others heard about that too. And now Sony says the game sells like a cure? Next game funded by them, Sony will insist not to have meaningless sidequests. Other publishers? No meaningless sidequests sell like a cure? I bet more will jump into wagon now someone draw them a pic.

Been watching shots and clips of it on Flickr from friends. Looks beautiful although totally not my style of game so absolutely zero interest in playing it. Sure is pretty though.

The problem is not it possibly being a great game (I'll never know unless they port it).
He can't mod it.

[Redacted after talking to Ripper]

If this ever gets ported to a pc, I'll give it a shot. As it is, there are too many games already, so I won't miss "exclusives". I'm not big into crossover fantasy/sci-fi elements either.

Geez, it's roleplay, the point is to "abuse" rich variety of playthroughs if those exist in a game. You both need to try some different playthroughs already.

That aside, I'm also buying HZD when appears on Steam sale.

If it hits the pc, I'm game. I just don't have room for multiple toys in my man cave and my gaming rig has to act as other things as needed. I may emulate HD at some point if I run out of pc games. The thing is, I don't see that happening. I'm pretty much to the point where I can just replay all my faves without ever having to buy anything that doesn't hit ALL my buttons.

Since I've found ESO to be a suitable "tide me over" experience, I can just login to that if I don't have a single-player game that is clamoring for attention.

Hopefully, WGD gives Enderal a shot if he hasn't already. There is a potential long-lasting male/male relationship in that one.
I think you're way overstepping the line, there.

Hmm, perhaps. I'll discuss it with you in PM. I really like WGD and almost every thing he does, tbh. I'm a supporter of his Skyrim/Fallout stuff big time! I do tease him there about posting me some womens

This is OT now though, big time. Please keep the screenies coming WGD.

Well I dont really blame him, 90% of the combat involved the bow/crossbow which is a turn off for me too. I will try the game later, but the game is not a priority for me because of that reason.

Turn captions on (a part of video is not on english).

It's a shame this developer video about a console exclusive shows how important code optimization is. I can only imagine what spectacle this studio could make if they made a PC exclusive game.

You are assuming that any dev would optimize code for PC. The fact of life about PC gaming is that game devs dont optimize code for PC. A game on console on a PC requires 50% more power on average than the console version at the least.

I do not use word dev for shamans, charlatans nor quack doctors.

There is also a huge gap between amateur and pro football.
No matter how good the ball is, an amateur will remain clueless. And incapable. But cheap.

A properly coded game on PC, TW3, does not need 50% more power than on console. It needs either 0% more power or infinite% more power. As pathetic consoles hardware can't do hairworks at all.
A scam on PC also doesn't need more power. It needs a modder to unlock visual spectacle in Watch Dogs deliberately disabled by the publisher.
