Default Xinput, DirectInput Controller help

February 23rd, 2017, 06:44
Hey.

I can't seem to find good info on this. I have an IPEGA bluetooth controller that I use with my Shield tablet. It works fine, but when I use Nvidia Gamestream, i.e. streaming PC games to tablet, a few games don't respond to the controller. Basically, the RPG Maker type games often don't respond well for some reason (with one exception being Last Dream.)

I'm pretty sure it had something to do with Xinput vs. DirectInput, but I'll be darned if I know what the heck is the deal here. Any ideas? Some sort of script to trick these games into thinking the IPEGA is an Xbox controller or something? (Not sure that would even work.)

Thank ya kindly.
