Tried it for a bit and it's ok if you're into the Souls formula.
Personally, I think the formula is limited and boring at this point, but to each his own.

I bought the game and played it two hours. My initial impression is good. If you like Ĺords of the Fallen you will definately like the Surge too. But it's a bit faster than LotF. In terms of combat speed if LotF is Dark Souls then Surge is Bloodborne.
