So, I just saw the first episode of season 3 of Twin Peaks. Liked it quite a bit. It has just enough weirdness and also managed to freak me out. I think it's gonna be good.

So far the doppleganger of Cooper has managed to manipulate just about everyone in sight to do his bidding. If you pay close attention to the early part of episode three, you can see how he fools the original Cooper into taking the wrong portal, albeit I think the lady was helping the bad Cooper.
But his crowning achievement has to be how he put himself in the same prison as Ray, that was just masterful. By god I think we are going to see some federal prison carnage pretty soon!

@Carnifex: I'd put that information in spoiler tags. Not everyone has seen every new episode. For example, I'm starting the third one right now.

Started watching American Gods, i liked the first two episodes, the third one dragged on and got really boring, had to stop halfway in, but I will continue (hopefully, sometimes i tend to just forget about tv series and move on).
One thing i don't like is how the CGI is so extremely stylistic that it reminds me of TV commercials, quite the opposite of something like Twin Peaks where it's instead rather "trashy" and instead reminds me of 90's movies.
Ian McShane is like always really great, couldn't really care less for the rest but they're decent enough.

As for the visual style - if you watched the TV show Hannibal you will immediately get what is going on visually, same person at the helm.

Finally finished a binge watch of Prison Break. After watching Flash and DC Legends I got curious about Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller's other work. I enjoyed their hamminess in those superhero shows.
Boy, what a shock these guys can act, Purcell especially. Miller has a bag of tricks he uses like a Michael Cain "don't blink" with a half smile. Sarah Wayne Callies has a great technique too, especially later on.
It is incredible in the first season, in spite of the obvious holes
The writers have been pretty good with coming up ways to fill the holes, like saying certain peoples were able to keep it out of the press (which they already hadn't), but pushes the suspension of disbelief after awhile. Prison Break is supposed to be grounded in reality unlike say, Lost, although it becomes a James Bond like reality.
The show gets successively worse in each season, especially this the fifth season, but its still an incredibly compelling series.

Finished the first season of Twin Peaks last night. Overall I'd say it was "ok". I thought the finale was somewhat underwhelming, but I'm interested enough to at least start the second season.

If you say it's just ok I won't go for it. Don't have enough time to spend on all mediocrity.

My exploration of exotics turned out fruitful (again? yes again!).
This series starts slow, honestly, they could (and should have) cut at least a third from first 3 episodes. Each episode is an hour and 20 minutes long!
But when things start rolling, hell I wished later episodes lasted even longer. Okay I'm exaggerating, later episodes don't waste time and justify every second.
Did anyone watch Justified? The show widely known as "presents what USA actually looks like"? Well, not really, Justified was one of those series that shows what humanity looks like.
This time, the hell breaks lose in a small town in Belgium where someone is killing children. There, just a few good people are struggling against the majority. Majority is evil people. No, not horror movies cliches, there is a different scale of evil in each character, you'll find your neighbors, coworkers, friends and family in each of them!
Can't now remember who wrote the other day noone was born evil. Dunno where you live, everyone was born evil, including you and me. Over time we accepted it fully or partially, or ditched it completely.
This series is not ment for those who believe everyone is good by default. It's for all of you, all of us to be precise, who are struggling against evil majority.
The show comes from Belguim and is titled Ennemi public.
Because of a few boring (okay, GRINDING!) parts in first three episodes and several hollywoodized "let's look badass" illogical scenes (you don't pull out gun for no reason while a house is empty) I can't put max score on this.
Whatever you're watching currently, just drop it and find out who's killing children in this near masterpiece:
9/10
Now please. Before Hollywood learns about it and does a silly remake.
A question, do we have anyone from Belgium here? It was a coincidence I stumbled upon this show while I was searching something else. Any other title I should give a try?

Erm dunno where to find it with english subs, I watched it on IPTV means it's automatically provided with my language subs (btw spoken language in series is french).
If you're looking for fansubs, try with opensubtitles or addic7ed.
EDIT:
Found something, will send you PM.
EDIT2:
Definetly check PM, but seems also that you can stream it with english subtitles at dailymotion. Dunno if that's legal stream though.

joxer; did you watch Broadchurch? You would probably enjoy it.
I like Ennemi public so far. These episodes are actually only 50 mins and not 1h 20mins, so i guess the series was quite heavily edited (to say the least) at some point…

Did anyone watch Designated Survivor? I like Kiefer Sutherland but so far it's been pretty bad - poor acting (or at least poor casting - his wife is particularly awful) and unbelievable character reaction to world events etc. I'm not sure how the president is getting away without being under pressure to call an election at some point, for example, although there's a very long list of problems like that. It feels like a missed opportunity, because the basic premise is actually fairly decent.

I personally do not feel Kiefer is very presidential and I think that helps.

Avoided some silly Hollywood remake like a plague.
I probably got confused about episode length because heavy advertisments on IPTV.

Sorry about that. But even so, I still believe first three episodes could have been better condensed. Not the rest of it though.

Too bad, it started off quite good and some of the actors are very good, but i don't think I can watch this.

1. It would. Wouldn't if they knew there is someone else in the trailer. Check with a RL policeman.
2. Actually in reality, lynch mobs are easy to organize, all you need is an ignorant audience. What logic exactly do you seek? Mass hysteria is not sci fi. For more details, check history examples. The case of Emmett Till, 1955., while not one of cases where 10K people joined a lynch mob, will still suffice.
3. And again you're using Hollywood blueprints as a counterargument, not RL. And again I'm telling you the world simply doesn't work like Hollywood. I'm not suggesting you should join a gang for a year or two to experience stuff from inside. Policemen are not supermen, they're still humans. With weaknesses.
I agree on your last sentence. Don't continue. It's a product that doesn't meet your taste, and that's okay.
