Everything I read and heard about the game sounds incredible. It's pretty ambitious and let's hope they can pull it off, so this doesn't become another Mandate or god forbid Sword Coast Legends.
I actually like that it is a Russian dev. They always have great ideas regarding mechanics and I like the gritty (in general) style. Though, they are always lacking in the story departement, but that's what we have the "Living Strechgoal" for.

Quick rundown of the checklist…
- PC
- Non-console (not even as a stretch goal!!!)
- Non-MMO.
- Class system.
- Based on existing thought-out battle system.
- Masses of lore to draw from (nobody has to create a whole unique world in 12 months)
- English German French Russian language support.
Yes its RTwP…. a minor issue! Read description below, 3 seconds not exactly an action game.
"Yeah, our combat is realt-time with pause. Characters will use individual real-time turns base on their initiative, each of which will last over three seconds"
Its 90% of what everyone says they want. Unless you see some red flags I can't see why you wouldn't back this. How often does this type of game come around? I know some of you have built up some ideal game in your head but I'm fairly sure that ideal will never be worked on. Might as well support the guys that are making a good attempt.
PS - 100% willing to eat my words on this one if it turns into a shit-show.
Also they confirmed there will be metamagic (and it is shown in that gif where mage casts two spells fast)

I just checked out the campaign and I'm tempted.
However, no coop and Unity means I'll be holding off for now.
But here's hoping it's everything you guys want it to be

How much of the game will revolve around resource management/building stuff? I really loathe that kind of thing - why I stopped playing War/Starcraft back in the day. I want to adventure with my merry band and uncover interesting plots etc, not really manage a kingdom or constantly be waiting for someone to attack my town(s).

I'm mixed. Evil Island has a good reputation (never played it). Like silent storm but was not a fan of HOMM V.

If you mean just building and managing it through menus and stuff, I doubt that will be more than 5% of the total gameplay.

Now it is not a minor issue. Tyranny does not play faster (easy to find actions whose completion takes more than three seconds)
Either completion of an action in this product takes several turns (like casting a spell taking three turns and 9 seconds) or turns can not overlapse (does not seem to be the case from the vid) or the separation in turns helps players to get a fluid thought process or that is trouble.
Tyranny does not play faster and players can not play Tyranny RTwP.

I'd be surprised. I don't think there's any relationship with Obsidian. From the kickstarter video I caught glimpses of Unity, so I guess they're using that as base game-engine-tools.
Also, the UI of the alpha on the KS looks a lot like POE1, they just moved the elements around. It probably won't look like that at release though.

Wow too late already for the early bird. I backed anyways. I love the Pathfinder ruleset! Also Nivial made some very good games. I hope they haven't lost their touch!

So has it been confirmed that they will be using Unity as their game engine?
