What games are you playing now?
June 10th, 2017, 17:52
Yeah, one of my friends got that bug in Wasteland two, really ticked her off. Never saw it myself but that might have made me rage had it happened to me!! Great game though, well worth going back to an older save and praying it doesn't repeat.

I started playing Rebel Galaxy but stopped after a short time and haven't went back. It seemed promising with the Freelancer-type mission system, and I like the visuals.
The problem, for me, is the combat. It's very slow-paced, and the ships are bullet sponges with shields. It takes forever to bring down another ship, or at least that's the way it seemed in the short amount of time I spent with it. I might give it another chance though.
I also just started StarCrawlers, and I'm really liking it so far. My main character is going to be a smuggler, but I'm torn on who I want to include for the rest of my party.

The wasteland 2 bug didn't repeat when I started with an earlier save, and it didn't take me three hours to get back to where I was - I must have spent quite a while wandering around aimlessly and stuck in dialogue, most of which I skipped this time.
On reflection, I'm wondering if my suit got eaten by one of those giant frogs. They sometimes grab stuff off you right - i've only seen them take guns do far, but maybe one of them grabbed my suit. In any case it's a bad mechanic, as you can't tell when you're wearing the thing or not. Or maybe it was just a bug.
Anyway, still really enjoying it overall.

Installed Stardew Valley. I should've done that so much earlier.
Insanely cute.

…and just completed Wasteland 2, clocking in 54 hrs of solid entertainment… a few bugs and dodgy design decisions aside. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I'll probably come back to it in a few years for a second run-through.
So now I'm just looking at my backlog and wondering where to go next. Star Crawlers? Legends of Eisenwald? Inquisitor? At some point I should give Witcher 3 a go as well but I'm not in the mood at the minute (I played the second one relatively recently). Probably Star Crawlers I think.

I just played through Heroes of the Kingdom II that I got through a bundle. The game is a pixel-hunter type game where you click various items on the screen to progress through the story. It was cute, brainless fun. It took less than 2 days to play through it.

All of the talk in other threads had me want to reinstall Mass Effect 2 … I replayed enough of Mass Effect to remember all the positive and negative things. So now I wanted to check the sequel … probably won't replay either one fully, but they are both fun.
Oh - and I am playing it on the new Samsung Galaxy Book. Basically a hybrid tablet/laptop (competes with Microsoft Surface) … and it runs great.

Hi there. I restarted Heroes of Might & Magic 3, and Master of Orion, but I am really waiting on the Steam Summer Sale, so I can buy Endless Space 2.

I have discovered Phantom Pain, forgot that I have it, it's good, I like it.

I'm having another go at Vampire The Masquerade: Redemption. It's probably the third or fourth time I've started it, but I've never got very far. I love the story, the setting and the atmosphere, but the awkward controls and irritating AI of your companions have defeated my previous attempts to complete it.
Let's see how far I get this time!

Playing Dungeon Lords Steam Edition with a friend, I shit you not. He turns up once a week for LAN coop. This will be the third edition I've owned (sucker!), but I've only ever got about half way before. We tend to finish what we start over our sessions, so barring a massive progress-stopping glitch…
(which is possible, because I think that's what stopped me the first time, and then saves weren't compatible with a later version I got. Grrr)

Men of war assault squad. Only started. So far so good I like it. There is a layer of strategy and its not too easy

I'm playing Konung-3 an old russian crpg that was translated to English several years ago. It appears to be made with the Infinity Engine, but I'm not positive.

Right now I'm playing Persona 5 (guess I'm addicted to it XD). I've also bought Titan Quest Anniversary Edition and Witcher 2 (mostly for memory sake) and it will probably take long time for me to finish all of these three games.

Started Pillars of Eternity for 3rd time and now I finally like it! I found that now I can get into its atmosphere and found it quite good for my liking. I even have no problems with its combat system so far, I just hope it will not become boring soon (as with many games later) and maybe I will finish it for once.

For the most part I think the game got better as it went along (cept for the combat which I never quite liked). The expansion is esp good and has a lot more action and a might tighter less convoluted story. I liked POE least of the three big kickstarter (d
s, wasteland 2, poe) but i managed to finish it twice (first was before the expansion second time was a few months ago after all patches and expansion). I do think the expansion was better then the base game and while story point was a strong point for obsidian i really disliked the story in this one. It did sort of remind me of golden compus for some reason.

When do you suggest to start expansion - after I finish main story or somewhere along the way? Or maybe I can go to White march and explore a bit, take some companions and then come back and finish it later?
As for other two games - Im somewhere in the middle of D:OS, got distracted by other games, but I intend to finish it, because I liked what I saw so far.
But on Wasteland 2 I gave up - got bored after I reached California (I think it was hmm), when black ranger guy sent me to all fourth directions to gather some stuff - I knew story will not continue until I do those 4 quests.
This overused approach really annoys me - go, greenhorn, gather 4 artifacts or 4 something while we, veterans, tough guys, will sit here doing nothing and wait for your return. It made me give up on W2.
