Does this site have a jobs section? lf not, is it appropriate to make a "For Hire" post?

No it doesn't have such a section. It is also not something I would like to see happening.

Erm, I wouldn't mind seeing such section - if was strictly games industry related.

I don't particularly mind it, but I think it might be extending the point of the Watch a bit far.

(Assuming this is related to games development) If you're an indie developer looking to hire some talent why not just start a thread about your game/s in the indie RPG subforum and then mention that you're looking to hire someone there? You want to get someone who is interested in / passionate about your game since presumably you can't pay them a lot… Unless you really want the project to remain top secret, but honestly that PR gimmick is silly even when AAA developers do it.
