I definitely prefer reading myself.
It's funny, but I think it requires a lot more patience to watch a video like this - than to read a piece about it.

I like videos to watch people play, either to learn a new game or to learn from experts. Reviews and comments? nah thanks, give me written pieces I can quickly scan.

Hey Bobo, don't want to 'dis your hard work man. Like many of the others have said, I also prefer reading, with an assorted clip here and there. And it is also true that the videos are a wee bit long…

Well welcome to the future as Twitch and Youtube changed how journalist do coverage of games. Nowadays it's easier to do a video then post lengthy articles.
