IGN had a look at Battle Chasers: Nightwar during Gamescom and saw some gameplay. There is also a new Kickstarter update which announced Beta has been delayed a week, physical reward upgrades are available, if you were a backer, and the forums will be live by Thursday.

mercy, your attempts are futile.
IIRC it was you I replied a year or so back that I do not want to buy a game based on never finished comic where it's integral version is priced as if it was made of gold, something like that:
https://www.amazon.com/Battle-Chaser…/dp/1607063336
Even the most spectacular Akira hardcover with original remarks doesn't have a price this huge. Or, hell, I paid at least three times less for complete Locke&Key, all 6 hardcover volumes. Etc etc, I don't allow milking these on me with never finished material.
Anyway, I didn't back this project on Kickstarter, if everyone here agrees it's not as bad as other randomly generated dungeons games, I promise to wishlist it.

Kinda agree with Joxer… this could be good but it looks like one of those games that could also end up being a shallow, grid-fest. Will wait on reviews.

Mixed. I did back the kickstarter. The darksider games were fun (though pc controls could have used a bit of work). I think it will be ok; but maybe not quite as good as I hoped. Surprise the dungeons are random.

It looks beautiful and stylish. Combat seems interesting. I backed the Kickstarter, so I'll get it anyway. Games like this need more though. A great story, really interesting character building or great exploration needs to be part of it, to motivate people through all of the combat. As far as random dungeon layouts go, Diablo 2 and Daggerfall had that and it functioned, so its not a gamekiller for me.
