Thea 2: The Shattering - Kickstarter: Sept. 18
September 4th, 2017, 11:36
MuHa Games will start a Kickstarter campaign for Thea 2: The Shattering on September 18:
Kickstarter campaign on 18th SeptemberMore information.
We finally managed to lock down the Kickstarter campaign’s start date to 18th September. Our goal is to hit £40k by 16th October and if this happens, we’ll be able to put more money towards art and marketing, keep your fingers crossed and your wallets open During and after the campaign, we will be talking in more detail about the mechanics of our new card game as well as many other exciting features we’re currently developing. So stay tuned!
The other big event will, of course, be EGX in Birmingham (UK) on 21-24th September. We will have two stands and plan to show Thea: The Awakening on a console as well as a card game demo from Thea 2: The Shattering. We really wanted to let you run around the map a little bit, but that didn’t quite work out (and to remain sane we’ve decided not to hack any gameplay elements for the demo). But you will have the chance to follow a short event, try a couple fights and play a bit with Character Equipment screen. This will also be a fantastic chance to gather player feedback regarding the card game mechanics. Oh, and meet our fans of course We love our fans!
Let me end this quick summary by showing another god video featuring Svarog – the Sun God and Master of Heavenly Fires! More news on the KS campaign and EGX stuff – soon.

I didn't think the game had enough replayability to replay with different gods all the time, but I completed the game twice at standard and then slightly more difficult difficulties.
I found the card game good, but a bit too samey after a while.
Will probably have a look at the KS, but not sure yet if I'll back.

Never heard about Thea. But for real, not because one of my "whatnot" reasons.
As I have too many games not even touched in backlog now, won't search for it now. KS project will include a demo so I promise to check it when it's up.

Like Pladio I've played Thea twice. It's was a nice little game with not much replayability value so yes, I would be interested in Thea 2

Had to google this one, seems interesting. Kind of reminds of HoM&M.

I'll be ready to read the kickstarter campaign notes on this, and I'll likely kick in.

I thought Thea was great, but like it said above I didn't think there was replay ability much. There are cards to unlock on subsequent playthroughs but I just couldn't bring myself to do it more than twice.

Echoing other comments here… quite a good game but didn't offer enough to me to play through again after one thorough play through of about 18 hours. One thing I was impressed with is in that 18 hours, I had dozens of text encounters and never the same one twice - that was cool.

I really wanted to like Thea, but somehow I coudn't get into it no matter how hard I tried. Nicely done game, but just not my cup. I'm likely to skip the second one.

Considered the history of their previous game, this one is on hold. Thea was a game until devs caved in and yielded to dilute the tension.
Maybe this time, they got the message and will deliver tons of content to be discovered and nothing to be played once the discovery is done.

Thea seemed like the kind of game I would love. Except for the card battles. I don't like card games in rpg's. I will go to the casino and play black jack.
