Ouch, yet another legend passes way too early. You will be greatly missed, Mr. Petty.

Also, listen to the album Wildflowers in its entirety. Trust me.

Day? More like this entire year. 2017 has been one tragedy after another. This is just a tiny blip on the radar.

I would agree - these are perhaps the darkest times I've known in my lifetime.

One of the key albums of my teenage years. All wrapped up with Nirvana and Bill Hicks, and the other special stuff that turned my head.

It's been confirmed. http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/03/entert…bit/index.html

After Bowie passed last year, Petty was the only rocker I still cared about. And now he's gone as well.

What, no one still from The Who, The Stones, Zeppelin, Dylan, Neil Young, The Beatles, Cream, Pearl Jam, The Police, The Cult, The Smiths, and hundreds of other bands I don't have time to type out? You sir, either have a very narrow view on musical greats or a very cold heart. I would hope you think about changing your post. I'm a huge music lover and I don't think I have ever been offended on this site by such a foul statement.

RIP Tom Petty.
